Seasonal Bliss Prologue

Prologue

Farragut State Park, Idaho

The early graduation party was in full swing by the time Kathy Moon, Melanie Carson and Sophie Sanders had arrived.  In the twilight hours, the luminescent moon glared off Lake Pend Oreille.  The sandy beach lakefronts had a magnificent view of the Aurora Borealis whenever it should appear.  There were wide, open meadows among the pine forests in the surrounding area.  Lots of people came every year to visit the attractions and recreational amenities and enjoyed its facilities immensely.  You can take a tour of the Brig Museum and its facts of Navy history, a visitor center full of rich history of Farragut State Park, and more than a dozen fun activities for the families to enjoy.

Kathy Moon decided to do a quick sweep of the area as she made a beeline for the women’s restrooms and drinking fountains.  Some of the students she had recognized from Sandpoint High School whom she had class with.  Quickly Kathy used the women’s restroom and sanitized her hands with Purell.  She joined the rest of the students around the bonfire who were drinking alcoholic beverages.  Kathy decided to call security, but hesitated.  This was a goodbye party to people she would no longer walk the hallways with, yet possibly see because some were off to colleges in other states except the ones that decided to go to the local college.  Two people Kathy hardly knew, Melanie Carson and Sophie Sanders, but she had gotten to know them through the journey to Montana and because they babysat her little sister, Buffy.

Sophie and Melanie lingered along the waterfront, watching the sunset dip behind the ridge of the mountains as its reflection rippled through the cold, blue-green water.  Dark, black clouds threatened the skies, which slowly shifted towards the lake with possible thunderstorms.  They knew after tonight would mark the final stages of high school and head down the aisle to their graduation in June.  Sophie’s dark green halter-top and ruby red capris made her appearance stunningly beautiful.  The gentle breeze wafted through her hair as it danced around her face.  Melanie’s shoulder length hair was pinned back in a large barrette but some of it fell in tendrils yet it made her figure elegant with her new silver dress and white open-toed sandals with straps, which she had just bought yesterday.

In the distance, there was a silhouette of two people in an embracing lip lock.  Sophie and Melanie walked in their direction.  They looked familiar to them and couldn't quite make them out.  Melanie questioned herself and debated to walk the other way, but Sophie’s tug on her hand told her to keep going.  Upon their arrival, their eyes averted on Jason Baskel and Lisa-Ann March pulling away from each other.
Jason couldn't believe that Melanie stood in front of him, but in that instance, Melanie took off running.  She didn't want to believe at what she had just seen.  Not because of Jason, but of Lisa-Ann had been dating her best friend, Sophie.  Of course she has been trying to avoid Jason.  The last thing she wanted was to be alone with him.  Jason was on her tail running after her.  Fear coursed down her spine.

Kathy pretended to be enjoying herself, kneeling in front of the bonfire and trying to keep warm.  Her light jacket didn’t keep her warm enough.   Thunder echoed above her.  The firelight reflected in her amethyst eyes, envisioning into the embers.  Her sixth sense of clairvoyance had kicked in.  An intense reaction came across her whole body.  All of sudden, she automatically speed dialed the S.W.A.T. team that was on-call and nearby the vicinity.  Immediately, Kathy responded to their previous plans.  After that, she took off to the area she had last seen the girls.

Sophie and Lisa-Ann were in an intense argument.  This was the last straw between their romantic relationship.  Sophie ended it with a bitch slap across Lisa-Ann’s face.  She turned around and realized that Melanie was nowhere in sight.  She reached for her phone as it rang with Kathy on the other end.  Panic had sunk in her gut.  Kathy and Sophie finally ran into each other, frantic out of their wits.

Melanie ran towards the pine trees that led towards the Brig Museum, dodging branches.  Her beautiful dress got snagged on the low twigs.  Glancing behind her, Mel stumbled upon the root of a pine tree and fell into the long grassy meadow.  Jason caught up to her, ripping at her dress.  Sirens filled the air.  He slapped her face and had torn her underwear off of her.  Melanie clawed at him, but Jason was stronger and more forceful than before.  Jason slugged her in the stomach and grabbed her arms, twisting them above her head.  She tried to scream for help, but he stuffed her underwear in her mouth.  After Jason tugged his boxer and pants down, he had forced himself inside her with all his strength and made her wither underneath him.  Melanie whimpered and moaned as tears ran down her cherub face.

Rain engulfed them, drowning out the sirens.  Jason finally finished his mission.  The whore paid for her treacherous crimes.  He emptied his loins into her, groaning in pleasure of his release.  Jason pulled himself out of her and buttoned his pants just as Kathy did a leaping jump and kicked him to the ground.  All her training in tai chi wasn't for anything.  He stood up and started to swing his fist into this bitch’s face.  Kathy was too quick for him.  She did a full turn around kick him into his chest that made him fly ten feet away from the crime.  Handcuffs were slapped onto his wrists this time since he was face-down  knocked senseless.  Although Jason struggled, S.W.A.T. showed up just in the nick of time and took him away to book him.
In dire moment, Sophie’s adrenaline rushed through her, scooping Melanie up gently and went towards the paramedics’ van that had shown up.  Placing her on the gurney, the paramedic took over from there.  Soph’s urgency landed her next to Mel in the van as it speed to the nearest hospital.  At Mel’s disheveled appearance, everybody knew right away that she would need a rape kit.

Kathy informed Sheriff Taylor of the situation.  He mentioned that he would contact the families of what happened tonight.  Following the paramedics in the truck, Kathy quickly placed the emergency flashers on the roof and flipped on the emergency bell.  Sirens filled the cold, dreary night as it continued to downpour.

Changing With the Seasons

Lately we have been so busy with our lives that we forget to write not just on our blog, but our books as well.  This is the month we all celebrate Christmas but others celebrate Hanukkah and Yule; probably others I may have not mentioned here.  The bustle of shopping for last minute gifts for our loved ones are still wandering around aimlessly, trying to find the perfect gift or in an endless search for the gift you just can't find.  We are all changing with the Seasons.  We found ourselves done with our Christmas presents early this year by a couple weeks, already gift wrapped and later to be graced underneath the Christmas tree, which still needs decorated with ornaments.  Lots of delicious food will be cooked for that special holiday treats.

In Seasonal Bliss, this family drama is going to unfold and destroy marriages through lies, cheating, scandals and secrets.  Their lives will never be the same again.  They have to learn to trust, love, and most of all learn to accept those changes as shifts will begin to envelope them through twists and turns.  In Chapter 4 of our book, the friction of family drama will make you wonder how strong of a family unit they have, but as each family has their own secrets, they have a way of finding there way out.

This book will keep you on the edge of your seat.  The beginning of 2013 will bring us all changes including us.  Soon we will add the chapters to our book for you all to read.  These may be teasers, but isn't that the whole point of writing?!  We want to captivate you and draw you in to our book as it will bring you to the edge of your seat.  Drama-filled of budding romances and rekindling old flames is a daily reminder that not all families are perfect.  We all have our flaws and strengths.  We just have to survivor through all those turmoils; we're fighters and have to find our voice of strength to continue to live on in this world full of violence.

The devastating news of the Sandy Point Elementary is our daily reminder that it strikes close to the heart and home .  Our prayers will always be with their family as they struggle to fight with the loss of a loved one. Nobody's lives will be the same again.  We just have to rejoice and find our voice to remind ourselves that it's all right to grieve.  Tears help us relieve the tension and make us only human to keep up the strength to keep moving forward.  Heaven gained 27 angels to watch over their loved ones from Home.  This is only our temporary Home!

No Doubts

The self-pity and the suffering is a buffer we want to conceal the pain with. Today we all put up walls of trust and denial of the pain of existing in this world. But we are here to remind ourselves that there are no more doubts in our future. We can't live our lives in the shadows anymore. The pain may be so real that we can't breathe it anymore. It consumes our every day life and sucks us back in. We still have to live in this life and co-exist on this plane. We all know that this body is just a shell to live in until we go Home on the other side what ever that may be to you.

In the book so far we have written ten chapters. Touched by the pain and emotional upheaval of our beloved characters, they are human just like us. They have deep emotional pain that haunts them the rest of their life and still have to live with the consequences of their actions. Isn't it time we faced up to ours and remember to make the most out of lives?  I have to remind myself of that and get myself out of the fog of misery. We deserve that much respect to live and learn as much as possible not just for ourselves but as well as others. No doubts will soon be our lesson's learned and start living our life to its own.  This may be our only chance to get it right because you may not get another one!

Worthy of Love

Love comes in all types of form.  Most of us are not sure that we're even worthy of such love.  Well, I beg to differ.  For a long time, I didn't think I was capable of even loving myself.  I didn't like the life I was leading, but most of all, the way I lived my life.  I knew I had to change myself drastically.  Before you can love somebody else, you need to love thyself.  We all question our sanity and self-love first.  Although deep in our minds, our sanity is frail and sensitive with everything that surrounds us.  Inner beauty reflects on what we do to our self.  Image means a lot to a person's perspective.  Outer beauty's just an illusion.  We are not loved for what's on the outside, it's what's inside that matters.  However, how we treat our bodies can reflect on our self-love.  It just shows how much we truly accept, love and trust ourselves to do what's right.

As the drama unfolds in Seasonal Bliss: The Spring Vacation, a lot of heartache and love will be tested.  Celina, our beloved Melanie's mother, will be forced to make the ultimate decision.  Her life begins to rock and collide as she will head into the depths of despair and depression.  To her, Celina will question her sanity and wonder if she's really worthy of love.  Ashleigh, her best friend and mother to Sophie, will comfort her and be her aide to Celina's side.  Love will bloom once again to our beloved character.

You want to read more on this story, please visit http://www.facebook.com/WriterCreations and read our exclusive notes for more details.  The book's juicy and delectable!  It will hook and draw you into a world full of drama, love, and humor.  Hope to see you there!

Today, I can say I truly love, accept and trust myself completely.  I know that I'm capable of such love.  I'm glad to have meet my partner and to receive love in return.  I was too busy looking on the outside image than to see my own inner beauty.  My mind's a little insane, but who wouldn't be after all the pain and heartache I've been through?  Worthy of love today and always is just a reminder that we're all frail and sensitive with other emotions just makes us human!!

Understanding One's Own Sexuality

Everybody has their own opinions about who and what they should be as they grow up, but there are some of us who are born GLBT and it's just who we are.  We don't tell you that you can't be straight, but you don't realize that we live in a diverse world.  Quit putting labels on others and judge them.  You have no right to judge anybody.  You think you may be perfect, but inside we're all just the same lovable human being inside when you first met us.

In Seasonal Bliss, you'll find that we live in a diverse world.  Just look around you.  Sophie's sure of herself of who she is.  Inside, she's afraid to come out to the world, but with emotional support of her best friend, Melanie, she knows that she cannot deny who she truly is.  A lesbian who's world was turned upside down when she was child.  Part of her secret will come out in this book, but the rest of her secret's revealed in Book 2.

Do yourself a favor?  Instead of hiding in plain sight, talk to somebody about your sexuality and be actively involved with the GLBT community.  Those of you simple-minded who want to judge, you just don't understand the concept of bullying.  How would you like it if we bullied you for being straight, Atheist, Christian or whatever faith you are?  Enough said!  Next time you decided to call names, you're judging and lying to yourself.

Anger Issues and bullying

As of today, everybody goes through lots of rage and don't know where to focus it on.  Sometimes we fight against ourselves and urge that force on ourselves before we can settle on damage and inflict it upon others.  The pain is so real and unbearable we don't know where and what to do to control it before losing it.  My best advice is if you can't control that urge, seek help.  Those that can, kudos to you.  Find something that gives you that solace.

In Seasonal Bliss, Melanie's life is going through turmoil into lots of rage.  Her inner, sacred self control will make her temper flair and send up red flags for her cry out for help.  Struggling with her own sexuality, she doesn't want her reputation be torn up to pieces in high school, but another person will damage her rep in school regardless in a different form.

Bullying is part of this world whether we want it there or not.  Life's turmoil just eats you up inside.  Always be careful what you wish for.  You wouldn't want to be bullied so why would you bully back.  That rage of anger and what it does to today's society is such a travesty.  Suicide's rate is high as they're calling out for help and nobody notices them.  Stop, listen, accept change, and let go of anger, hatred and racism.  Start sticking up for yourself and for those that matter to you.
